We love searching it to find unique and thoughtful gifts, from one-of-a-kind handcrafted jackets to customized videogame consoles. I was new to Etsy altogether, and my phone is kind of old. Using the PC version on my phone was very slow and frustrating.
I love how you can not only favorite the item itself, but the store too! So even if you forget to favorite an item, that store is saved and you can always go back to see what new pretties that store owner has. And this app lets you navigate and save your favorites with the greatest of east.
It also is so convenient when you click the item itself. The pics are at top to slide. Description at bottom. It gives all details, including shipping information. And if you chose to enlarge the photos you can.
And post-purchase, I like how it has the orders listed separately and you can easily see what has shipped and the tracking of any. Even the messaging features between customers and sellers is so convenient.
All in all, a very thoughtful app that I have had no problems using. Thank you!!! I shop Etsy all the time so I am a buyer and a seller! There are some things I love and some things not so much I miss the old Etsy I miss treasuries and other features about Etsy that are no longer!
Etsy is the MALL With more than one shop As mentioned above, Etsy SEO helps you to rank higher within the Etsy search and increase the number of customers that see your page and buy your products.
Below are some quick and easy steps to help boost your Etsy SEO. One of the easiest and effective ways to rank high in a customer search is to focus on the title of your products. These titles need to incorporate keywords, which can be determined by using an Etsy keyword tool like the one above. Etsy SEO tools such as the keyword tool above will generate the most popular terms a customer will use when searching for products like yours.
When you have determined the essential keywords for the products you are selling, you can start to incorporate them into your titles. You can use commas or dashes to separate your keywords for clarity but be sure that they accurately reflect the product you are selling.
While Etsy does look at a number of features within your Etsy shop, it does take significant consideration into the product tags that you use.
These Etsy tags provide a description of your products and help to integrate even more Etsy keywords into your Etsy page. Since you have used our Etsy keyword tool to find the right keywords for your product titles, you can now use more of these keywords as your product tags.
Etsy allows you to select 13 tags that are up to 20 characters in length. You will want to use as many keyword tags as you can so you get the maximum SEO benefit. Choose keywords that accurately reflect the products that you are selling and would be used by your customers to find your products. Don't just incorporate irrelevant tags as this may end up hurting your shop listing. By using an Etsy keyword tool, you take a lot of the guesswork out of what keywords people search for and are necessary to describe your products.
An Etsy keyword tool will automatically generate these search terms to ensure you have the best titles and tags that will help your Etsy shop rank as high as possible.
For an Etsy seller, this is important as it will help more customers find your Etsy page. Without doing proper keyword research for your shop, you run the risk of getting buried underneath your competitors. Not only will this cause you to lose out on revenue, but it will be much harder for you to promote your products to the right customer. I would be interested in adding something more suited to the purpose.
I use Paint Shop Pro. Similar to Photoshop but a lot cheaper. Thanks, I'll look at it! I like the idea of saving presets, since with shop photos, we're mostly doing the same tasks over and over. I'm willing to spend money on software that will save me a lot of time. Yeh, GIMP - way too many buttons and takes a lot of processing power. I think this program would benefit from a simple mode. I've got a few simple processes memorized and ignore the rest, but if you have photoshop understanding, I hear that the conversation to gimp isn't terrible.
Windows still has a basic editor but it's harder to get to. It does basic cropping, colour correction, contrast, white balance, add text and funny drawings, and a bunch of silly stuff. I have to go to my file folder, double click on the picture, then at the top right there's an "edit and create" button that takes me there. For my photo needs, I ended up with Capture1 as they have a buy once option instead of subscription.
Not as good as Picasa was. I am still limping along with it though. Photoshop is expensive and I'd need to take a class to figure out how to use it.. If I was making digital items to sell..
TheRabbitShoppe , I just got Photoscape. I am having trouble bringing up my edited photos to use for listing. And also having trouble saving them to a folder. I used to use Gimp but was away from my shop and computer for a year. Both had changed over that time, so am now starting from scratch and feel lost. If you can offer any help I would be so grateful. The tutorials I have looked at show the save button in a different place.
Feel free to message me if the explanation is too difficult to go in to here. Thanks in advance!! To save your edited pix, click the Save button on the far bottom-right, Save As a new name. Sign In Help.
