I have checked the proper boxes and logged in. I dont know how to fix that. I did setup Vortex correctly following the Wiki and Gopher. Prinsn , the download with mod manager button is controlled by both mod authors and our staff. Our staff will never disable the button unless the author is providing an installer for the mod. More often, the mod authors themselves would disable the button for one reason or another - please clarify this with the mod author.
Wikt0ri0 , are you using FireFox by any chance? FireFox tends to hold its own file associations and may have been configured to automatically start up NMM instead of Vortex. This is a bit late but for folks in the future who are having the problems I was having I realized the issue I was having was that I installed Fallout 4 Script Extender as a Mod within Vortex but you need to install it directly into your game file, just download the 7zip file, unzip it, drag the contents into your fallout 4 game file and I was able to deploy mods with vortex. Works for fallout 4 and fallout NV. Click on the experimental one and hit apply then hit okay. Then change it back to the other version and hit apply. Should be able to deploy mods now.
